They don't care and they don't listen. I went to an East coast boarding school for most of my High School and that was great because the teachers were accountable (30k per year will get people to listen). I don't have that kind of money for my kids, so I homeschool them. Has your son talked about what he thinks is the problem? Is he bored, getting done with work before others. I don't think counseling is a bad thing but I guess it just depends what the underlying issues are for his being disruptive in class.Nonflammablehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06357613550175307025noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4292419876225917604.post-12409687433858202382010-02-08T08:48:11.358-08:002010-02-08T08:48:11.358-08:00That's a tough one. If that happened to one of my kids, I'd talk to the teachers and the principal on a weekly basis...and talk to my child about it.<br />I don't know how old your son is or what the exact issues are...so it is a bit hard to give advice.TentCamperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00911767583033104298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4292419876225917604.post-82348377399586006702010-02-08T05:29:49.637-08:002010-02-08T05:29:49.637-08:00This is totally unacceptable. I would like to hear what other teachers out there have to say (unfortunately, I am not a teacher), but as a mom, I would be furious with the lack of communication on the school's part.xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18444876073017398971noreply@blogger.com
